Dress To Impress-Prom Dress Ideas

It’s that time of the year again! PROM SEASONNN!!! When I was little I used to love just walking through the aisles of dresses and imagine myself in a fashion show. Senior year of high school I finally got the chance to wear the dresses. I think I honestly had more fun getting dressed up than actually being at prom. Just kidding 🙂

Below are different dress ideas for the prom 2018 season.

The Two-Piece

This trend has been on the rise the past couple of seasons. I kinda wish this was around in 2014. It’s basically a crop top and a long skirt. More easier to move around and you can get creative with mixing colors, patterns, and designs. They range from simple to ultimate glam.

Long-Gown

This was something I wore to both of the proms I went to. You can’t go wrong with this option. It’s the classic prom look. You can find something super glam on the top with a fun back design or find something in between like the one below. With an addition of a slit it can help keep you cool because trust me the dance floor gets super warm.

Fit For A Princess

I always wanted a dress fit for a princess. But they’re too poofy for me to walk around in. If you’re that girl who loves anything fancy, then go get yourself a dress like this. It’s sweet, cute, fun, and very personable. You’ll def be the star of the night.

Toned Down Princess

For all those girls that want to secretly be a princess. This look isn’t as big on the bottom. You get to be glam on the top, while having a more simple look on the bottom. Easy to walk in and dance the night away.

Ultra Glam

All the glitz and glam. A long gown covered in stones, glitter, and sparkles let’s you be the ultra glam girl of the night. You’ll be catching eyes all night. Just be careful that the stones don’t get caught on your date.

I hope this guide helped you narrow down the style of dress you want to rock at your prom. Remember you can always find afforadable dresses anywhere. You don’t need to be spending hundreds of dollars. Wear a dress that you’ll be comfortable in and feel beautiful in. Don’t let anyone deter you away from the dress of your dreams 🙂
